Mothers, Daughters & Friends // A Family Session in LIC

When you move to a big city like New York City and leave family and friends behind, you hope that you can at least meet one person whom you can connect with. That's what this session is, two strong women with beautiful daughters that have made an incredible bond thru years of friendship. They now have these photos to look back and remember, NYC is a tough city but once in a while you do meet a special person that will be there for you in good times and in bad times, someone you CHOOSE to call FAMILY!

Trying to catch up here on my blog, still blogging my summer sessions. I shot the twins last year too and they gave me a harder time trying to capture their personalities this time I think.. But I think I did pretty good for not exactly getting the vision I had, because when photographing children, the secret is to let them be little! ;) Mom and dad joined when possible, overall I'm pretty happy with their session!! ;)

This family is dear to my heart, one of the first families that trusted me to photograph their beautiful family last year when I started my photography business.Tthey came back this year! With two shoots this summer may I add!! I photographed the gorgeous mom earlier in the summer at Rockaway beach, you can find her session here. They are a fun, loving down to earth, gorgeous family and have become friends in this process of documenting life, I love it when that happens! Wishing them all the happiness, love and peace as they have quickly become one of my favorites!
