Maternity Shoot // Gantry Plaza, LIC

I'm going to start this blog by saying how much I miss this beautiful mama! She lived in my building in NYC and after this shoot we became "tight" ;) so close! Of course it was 3 months before we made the move to Florida, but we had a great time those last months. She had her gorgeous baby and stayed home, and I also stayed at home. Frankie, her oldest was around the same age as Sophia so we would have playdates, cook for each other and just be there for one another. The best part, she lived on the 3rd floor and I lived on the 6th floor, same line too! Needless to say she has a beautiful family and her photos came out incredible! This first photo was featured on The Artistic Tog my first month in Florida and is also the main photo on my business cards, so you can imagine, this shoot has a very special place in my heart!

Siblings // Children's Shoot in Gantry Plaza, LIC

Photographing children is no easy task, photographing 3 children is almost impossible! ;) I had such a great time photographing these 3 siblings at the end of last summer, it wasn't easy but I managed to work around it. The oldest boy was all smiles for the camera and big sister is an Irish dancer, so she's always ready to put on a show. It was the little one who did not want to sit still, you can tell that his big brother and sister were such good sports and tried their best to get him to cooperate. At the end of the day its candids like these that make photographs memorable! This was 6 months ago and looking at them takes me right back to that moment, photographs are priceless!! When they are older they will look back at these and I hope the two oldest can also remember this special day!

Mothers, Daughters & Friends // A Family Session in LIC

When you move to a big city like New York City and leave family and friends behind, you hope that you can at least meet one person whom you can connect with. That's what this session is, two strong women with beautiful daughters that have made an incredible bond thru years of friendship. They now have these photos to look back and remember, NYC is a tough city but once in a while you do meet a special person that will be there for you in good times and in bad times, someone you CHOOSE to call FAMILY!
